Northwest Basic Commodities Corporation has successfully launched Nuklospray Yoghurt, a new product from Sloten B.V. from the Netherlands. The launch was held on June 22, 2011 at Hotel Vida, Clark, Pampanga, and on June 23, 2011 at Club Filipino, Greenhills, San Juan.
A representative from Sloten B.V., Mr. André Damveld, Nuklospray Product Manager, delivered a presentation on pre-weaning feeding strategy. His presentation stressed the importance of Nuklospray Yoghurt during the first 14 days of a piglet’s life, and the subsequent beneficial effects of good feeding strategy.

The INFARMCO Group of Companies recently participated in the 2nd INAHGEN The Farmers Congress held on 27 – 29 February 2008 at the SMX Convention Center, the country’s newest and largest exhibition and convention center located at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

International Farms Corporation (IFC) and International Swine Genetics, Inc. (ISGI), sister companies within the INFARMCO Group, garnered top positions in the recently concluded 24th National Swine Performance Test supervised by the Philippine Swine Industry and Development Foundation, Inc. (PSIDF) and conducted by the International Training Center on Pig Husbandry (ITCPH) in Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines. IFC won 1st place in both the purebred Landrace and Largewhite categories while ISGI also won the top two places in the purebred Duroc category. The boars were almost three months old when they were accepted into the performance testing program conducted from 06 November 2007 to February 2008.
